The Out Campaign: Scarlet Letter of Atheism

Star Rooks cover, Embiid edition These are two novelettes that my first wife (Kathleen Sky) and I wrote in the early 1980s. They're set in the same universe Kathleen created for her Laser Books BIRTHRIGHT and ICE PRISON, but these characters and stories are joint creations of us both.

The stories were originally published in magazines that had extremely limited circulations, and as a result have remained "undiscovered" for several decades. They concern a family of interstellar swindlers, Chandra and Jad diMedici, and a detective trying to pin them down. His job won't be easy, though, because the diMedicis have very twisted and ingenious imaginations.

The stories were published together earlier in a chapbook in electronic format by Embiid Press. They're now available separately in multiple e-book formats.
