Herds
was my first published novel. I didn't write it for any particular market,
but Roger Elwood of Laser Books liked it and bought it. It's about an
alien who witnesses a murder while visiting Earth invisibly by mind projection.
Should he intervene -- and if so, how?
The book has its flaws, but it poses some interesting moral dilemmas -- and it started me on the road to better things.
